Terms of Use

It’s free, it’s not medical care, and your routines are yours.

That is the whole of it. The rest is the same thing said carefully.

Agreeing to these terms

Using Momo means accepting what is on this page. If you do not, please do not use it. Momo is provided by OpenSoftLabs LLC.

Momo is not medical care

This matters more than anything else here, so it is near the top.

Momo is a routine companion. It is not a medical device, not a treatment, not therapy, and not a substitute for advice from a doctor, psychiatrist, therapist, coach or any other qualified professional. It does not diagnose anything, including ADHD.

Nothing in the app is medical advice. Do not use it to decide whether to start, stop or change any medication or treatment. If you are struggling, please talk to a professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Momo reminds you about things you told it to remind you about. It is scaffolding, not care, and it can miss, be late, or fail — see below.

What it costs

Momo is free. Everything in it today is free and stays free.

If we ever add a paid version, it will be for something new, and nothing you have already made will be moved behind a price. We will tell you in the app before anything changes.

Your content is yours

The routines, steps and notes you create in Momo belong to you. They are stored on your phone. We claim no ownership of them and no licence to use them.

If you send us feedback, you are giving us permission to read it and act on it, including using it to improve the app. Do not send us anything confidential or anything you would mind us reading.

Reminders are best effort

Reminders are scheduled by your phone. Your operating system decides whether and when they are shown, and can delay or suppress them for reasons outside our control — battery settings, focus modes, notification permissions, or the phone being off.

Do not rely on Momo for anything where a missed reminder matters. That includes medication. Use a method you trust for those.

Your data can be lost

Your routines and fireflies live on your device. If you delete the app, lose your phone, or your phone fails, they are gone. We do not hold a backup and cannot recover them. Signing in links your account to a new phone; it is not a substitute for a device backup.

Accounts

You may use Momo without an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, keep that account secure — anyone with access to it has access to yours. You can delete your Momo account at any time from the You tab.

We may suspend access if an account is used to abuse the service or others, though we would rather simply ask you to stop.

Availability and changes

Momo is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise it will always be available, always work, or be free of faults.

We may change or discontinue features, and may require you to update to a supported version to keep using the app. To the fullest extent the law allows, OpenSoftLabs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Momo — including anything you forgot to do.

Some places do not allow those limits, in which case they apply only as far as that law permits, and nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be waived.

Privacy

What we collect and what we do not is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
